Your Outdoor Dog Portrait Session:What to Expect
I’m excited that you’ve booked an outdoor session with me! To help you and your dog(s) have the best experience, we’ve put together some essential infomation to guide you through the process.
-
Exercise Beforehand: A good walk or play session before we start will help your dog feel more relaxed and ready to focus.
Grooming: Give your dog a quick grooming session before the shoot. A clean, well-brushed coat will look great in natural light.
Practice Commands: If your dog knows basic commands like “sit,” and “come,” it can make the session go smoothly. We’ll guide them, but a little practice doesn’t hurt.
-
Leash & Collar: Safety first! Even in wide-open spaces, it’s important to have a leash and collar handy.
Treats: Bring along your dog’s favorite treats to keep them engaged and reward them during the session. I will also have high value treats at hand.
Water: If your dog knows basic commands like “sit,” and “come,” it can make the session go smoothly. We’ll guide them, but a little practice doesn’t hurt.
