What to expect

First off, congratulations on snagging your spot for the Tees & Tails Model Shoot! We’re so excited to work with you and your adorable pups.

Here’s everything you need to know to make the experience smooth and enjoyable:

The Shoot Day

Yay, your pup is about to strut their stuff in front of my camera!

Once you arrive at the studio, 658 Cookman Ave Asbury Park, on the top floor at the back of the arcade, expect a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We’ll start by letting pup off leash and allowing them to explore their new environment. I’ll pop off the studio lights at this point to see if desensitizing pup to lights is necessary.

Don’t worry if your dog is a little nervous at first, we’ll take our time to ensure they feel comfortable and capture those perfect portraits. My goal is to keep your pup relaxed and happy, so we’ll move at their pace.

Think of this as more of a fun play-and-training session than a formal photoshoot

During the session, I may guide you on how to direct your pup, but we’ll feel that out as we go. We’ll take a few shots, reward them, and repeat—no pressure at all. I’m trained to spot any stress signals, so if your pup needs a break, we’ll give them time to relax and recharge.


The shoot will last around 40 minutes, giving us plenty of time to create stunning portraits without overwhelming you baby.

Post-Shoot Magic

Here’s what happens after the shoot (and yes, it’s just as exciting as the shoot itself!

Once the session wraps, we’ll dive into selecting and editing the photos to make sure your fur baby looks their absolute best.

You’ll have access to an online gallery to your selected professionally retouched portraits where you can view all the stunning shots and download them.

That’s not all… You will also receive a $40 gift card code for Tees & Tails which you’ll receive via email and be entered into Tees & Tails Next Top Supaw Model contest presented by Woof House Studio.

Here’s where the fun really ramps up—your pup is now officially in the running for our Tees & Tails Model Contest! The grand prize? A bespoke portrait session with Woof House Studio, custom-tailored just for you and your pup! This is our Petite Portrait signature Session collection. This includes your portrait session, the viewing and an 8x10 Fine Art print which you will choose at the viewing.

But wait, it gets better—you get to choose the portrait you’d like to enter into the contest too. Yes, your fave shot, the one where your pup looks like the supermodel they were born to be!

How It Works

Once your gallery is live, simply pick your top contender, and we’ll enter it into the contest. Then sit back, cross your paws, and stay tuned for the announcement of the Next Top Supaw Model Contest!

Tees & Tails Model Contest

  • A little exercise before the session can help burn off excess energy, but not so much that they’re overtired. Bring their favorite treats, toys, and anything that helps them relax. If grooming is part of your routine, plan it a day or two before the session so they look their best! You will recieve an email with resource links when you book which will guide you through the process.

  • Bring anything you think will make your pup feel comfortable. I find bringing familiar scents and favorite snacks into the studio can help relax your pup.

  • You will receive your perfect puppies portraits approximately 2 weeks after our shoot.

  • The Next Top Supaw Model contest is held every quarter. Our next Contest will be held in end of March
